I went through the same thing with #5. I was so tired all day but couldn't sleep at night. My mid-wife suggested a natural sleep aid it helped with sleep but I was still tired. I would ask your Dr.
While you are a wake think of things that would entertain your children while you rest especially Dejah for the rest of Mycah's nap.
My kids loved books read to them in my voice on the tape player.
They still remember it more then 15 years later.
I had toys put up for special times. I would bring out those toys that were fun and easy to clean up and they played while I laid on the couch usually feeling sick. =)
I also had cereal in bowls covered in plastic wrap and sippie cups ready for them for breakfast.
Tupperware cups with drinks ready for them also saves energy when you don't have it.
Get them a drink and you will always be getting drinks teach them how to get their own and they will get the little ones a drink too. =) I also had little snacks in baggies that I kept in a bowl on the table. They loved being able to choose.
Good luck I hope you can use something I shared.
This too shall pass. Your doing great.Laura Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08764156169569821485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014655157458936057.post-34919746718649435622009-02-04T14:22:00.000-07:002009-02-04T14:22:00.000-07:00I had the same problem this last go around. I went to the chiropractor and that helped a TON! Expecially when you get really big. Chiropractor is great for kids with ear aches too. That was an interesting and hard lesson to learn for us. And those last few months I had to start taking Unisom at night. I started with just a half a pill because I was scared, but the last month went to a whole pill. It is perfectly safe to take when pregnant and really helps! And the funny thing is after the baby comes you will find you just don't need it anymore. Good luck Anna I feel for you.Heather Carringer Lemonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12566854476072049099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014655157458936057.post-45494264423200634732009-02-04T13:15:00.000-07:002009-02-04T13:15:00.000-07:00Try taking away that extra nap in the afternoon an...Try taking away that extra nap in the afternoon and I bet you'll be super tired by bedtime. But hey guess what, I'm the same way and I'm not even pregnant!!!Kami Satterleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01867809049598928992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014655157458936057.post-80602231039955806522009-02-04T11:40:00.000-07:002009-02-04T11:40:00.000-07:00You probably should just try to go to bed at 10:30...You probably should just try to go to bed at 10:30 even though you aren't tired and eventually you will probably be able to go to sleep at 10:30. I think having a regular bed time and waking time is the best thing for your body. But you're pregnant so you are probably just going to be tired and that's ok. Don't be so hard on yourself.Mitzi Bealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10419428650526911932noreply@blogger.com
