Scout LOVED her binki, and I was terrified of taking it away. I went into panic mode if we ever lost it. One of these days when Alex will be home that might me a good time to take it away. At least that is what we do. It is definatly easier with two people so that you can take breaks from the screaming. Good luck with it whenever you do decide to get rid of it.Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13371060202231340921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014655157458936057.post-28197622755717539882008-09-10T20:49:00.000-06:002008-09-10T20:49:00.000-06:00Why all the stress? Lydia was exactly the same. ...Courage with the NUK. Lydia was exactly the same. Highly addicted and so was I. And she is a screamer. I was worried how we would handle church (mostly cause she is always cranky cause it's nap time) i had prepared my self for a week, possibly 2, of a terrible and cranky child. 24 hours was all it took for Lydia. I was shocked and very happy. I just went cold turkey, threw em out and kept her up late the first night so she would just be tired and fall asleep. She only was up 30 mins after we put her in bed before she fell asleep. Then the next day I tried to get her to nap, but she couldn't settle down for a while with out her pacifier, but at 3, she took a nap with out one and that night she went to sleep no problem, and has been perfect ever since. <BR/>So maybe you will be pleasantly suprisedSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00191460491727278579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014655157458936057.post-40258441376384497382008-09-10T08:49:00.000-06:002008-09-10T08:49:00.000-06:00Good luck!
