Surprise! You Are Not Going To Want To Miss This One!

You see that faint little line???? That's right! Faint or Bold....it means the same! Planned? I would have to be crazy! SO. NOT. PLANNED! So not ready! Ready or not here it comes. I wasn't going to make an announcement until Christmas, but I have been such a ball of emotions I can no longer contain myself. I have been in a whirlwind of tears, extreme fear, and slight excitement that I can officially say I am Done! Tears? I just don't feel ready to take on another pregnancy and baby right away. I mean c'mon...I have a baby. He is 6 months old. My body still hasn't "recovered". I'm still getting up with him every night to "re-insert the nuk". With my other kids, I had mentally prepared myself for the "Nine months ahead". I was excited. So I could bear the aches, the nausea, the sleepless nights, the hunger, and my worst symptom of all, REALLY BAD varicose veins that swell my legs and labia to a constant state of discomfort. And the only relief I get from those is when I deliver the baby. Yes it has been six months since I had Logan, but it really only feels like two. So I am having a REALLY hard time getting excited! I am Extremely fearful because we are in a small little starter home that was intended to be just that. Like most, we owe more on our home than what we could sell it for. Lucky for us we can afford the mortgage. Unlucky for us, that means we are stuck. Unless by some stroke of luck and answers to prayers, something works out for us to move into a more "suitable" home. I know there are moms out there thinking, "oh, that is nothing, I raised 6 kids in a one bedroom house.". Ladies, contrary to what you may think, I am not one of those super organized, super patient, super moms that can make anything work and be super chipper about it. Reality is, I can't sleep with a baby in my room. I don't have the patience when it comes to walking all over my kids toys because they don't have anywhere else to play. More than likely, it will just have to be that way, and I will just have to learn how to deal with it. I just feel like a more stressed person when I don't have my space. So I guess you could say I'm a bit stressed out. Now the exciting part, I knew that Four was my number, which means...after this....I am done! Well, that is all for now. Plenty more posts to come :)

  2. Anna! I was there my friend! My third was three months old when I got pregnant with my fourth. My fourth is now 7 months old and even though it was my worst nightmare come true I actually wouldn't have had it any other way. We should talk!

  5. Oh Anna, you were right. That is crazy. I always think that I am pregnant and it turns out to be gas. Ha ha. No seriously though, I feel for you. I want to say I am excited for you but we as moms know that babies are a lot of work. Yes they are cute, but they are a lot of work. I hope you feel good about this soon. You can do it. I am sorry about the house thing, that's hard. I have complained about ours and got the same response, "I have 5 children in 1000 square feet." Good for you but it's no body's dream. We should get together again and this time I can uplift you. :)

  7. OH MY GOODNESS! I can't wait until the day I can say I'm done. Part of me wonders if it would be easier to have them closer together because then at least you wouldn't have to be chasing the older one around as much! Mason is such a "boy" that it's about to kill me! Good luck!

  8. Wow! I knew just by your title that you were pregnant. Congrats! I think there is a reason why pregnancy is 9 months, so when surprises happen you can have time to prepare. Good luck!

  9. Congrats Anna! I am excited for you. I know it is probably more than a little overwhelming now but think about it...when Logan is turning 1 and not a baby anymore you will have another bundle coming. You may not feel like super mom, but you fake it pretty well. I miss seeing you. Have a great day.

  16. You can do this! I for one am very excited because we will have 3 new babies next year in the family! At this point whats one more thrown on the pile?! I hope that its another boy so you get an even group and Logan has a brother! How cute would two little boys be?

Anyway, Dont stress. none of our lives go quite as planned. Thats the fun part right?! Time to bust out the chore charts, time out bench, schedule, and any other tricks to get organized before the newbie comes!

I was serious about doing a parenting class. Mitzi took one last year and loved it, and hello I need all the help I can get learning how to raise children correctly! Jory said she would come too. Ill do soem research!

  17. Congrats! I would be overwhelmed too but I'm sure Logan and this baby will be best buds like your girls are so they can entertain each other. This baby must have been so anxious to be part of your cute and growing family. You're a great mommy-hang in there :)

  19. Holy Crap! When I saw the pregnany test pic first I thought that you were just gonna say that it was a scare... but that's so exciting, Congratulations! Sometimes the best way to have another is to not plan it at all. I keep telling myself that I am not ready for a 4th child but hearing all these peeps that are pregnant and seeing all these precious newborns are kinda making me crave another! So I'm kinda jealous ;) But you will do awesome, you are great parents and you have 9 months to prepare right?!

  20. Anna,
So I know we haven't really hung out or anything - but I need some pregnant friends! Especially ones who are just starting out like me! I'm only 10 weeks and this is like a whole other ball game (last pregnancy was 5 yrs ago!) so I have NO IDEA what to expect. Poor Michael has been dealing with my crying mess every day. I would LOVE to go clothes shopping with you! I'm only barely pregnant yet I've already gained 5 lbs. :( Write me? theplaisances@yahoo.com I can sympathize! :)

  21. Only 1 of our 4 were planned for us and I just have to say that the lord has a funny way of making you excited. You will get there and when this is all over you will not be able to imagine life without that little bundle of joy!!! Just like Christy said, nothing EVER goes as planned - just take one day at a time!!

  22. That happened to me with baby number 2. I felt so scared and so unprepared for all of it. You will do great and your baby will no longer be a baby but wow, you have a lot of work ahead of you. Hope you feel better with this one. Good luck.
