Kids Summer Freebies & Cheepies

So every summer there are tons of fun cheap/free things for the kids and family.  Here is a list of things we hope to enjoy around here.

I'm a bit bummed that Regal Cinemas has started charging for their summer festival for kids. I know I know..$1 is still cheap, but sometimes we would go twice a week to each movie. For my family that would cost me $8 per week/$32 per month (not including the baby). Its too bad. Its not often you find people willing to offer a free service anymore.  Either way, here it is.

Boise Edwards Showing are as follows:

NEXT.  The Overland Reel Theater does $1 movies EVERY TUESDAY.  This is a running deal that is always on.  I may opt to do this instead.  The movies are newer (not yet on DVD) and I can go anytime on Tuesday.  Here is the link to their site for showtimes.

NEXT.  The Overland Park Cinemas.  They have the best deals if you want popcorn and a drink or candy with your movie.  Tuesday shows are also just a dollar, but if you want to add two food items it is two dollars more (total $3).  Here is the link.

  1. Love lunch in the park! We go everyday in Middleton...little bit of a drive, but I'd rather drive from Star to Middleton and see old friends than to Meridian! ;)

  2. Dude! You are a mind reader! I was just wondering about all of these things! I'm bummed about the $1 too. Does that not kind of ruin it for you? It does for me! I love all the ideas! Thanks for doing the leg work!
