***********YMCA***********

Saturday we took the girls swimming at the YMCA. They had a blast!

I did get Alex's permission to load this picture on here.

Mycah took a while to feel comfortable in the pool, but after a while she was kicking and squealing and having a great time.
This weekend was a blast! The sleepover was a smashing success. They had a great time playing together. They all ate dinner and then watched "Return to Neverland" with some popcorn. They sacked out at 9:30 and didn't wake up until 8:30 in the morning. Saturday morning while the kids were playing I worked on programming our new computer. Finally! Hopefully this one won't crash for years to come. I will just have to remember to keep all my stuff backed up this time. Anyway, after the kids left, we washed windows for Dr. Emory then took our girls to the YMCA to go swimming. We all had a great time! I am glad that it is Sunday because I am dieing for some relaxation. Spring break is over and Alex goes back to work tomorrow. It is a bitter sweet feeling.

I've got no strings....To Hold Me...?...Up

Well, she has finally committed! Officially walking! Its really funny to watch her go because she tends to walk like a mummy with her arms straight out, but she is going and loving every minute of it. There are no strings on her.
We are having a little sleepover tonight. Alex's twin brother Lance and his wife Katie are taking some much needed R&R tonight, so we get their youngest two kids for our very first sleepover. It seems as though maybe Kaleb also has no strings because he took a nose dive into the ground while learning to ride his bike. He managed to scrape up his knees and chin and also broke his front tooth in half. OUCH! It will probably get pulled on Monday.

Spring Break

What a crazy week! Since I am so lucky to be married to a BSU teacher, I also have the luck of getting him home on spring break. Its a bit of an adjustment because he is the biggest tease EVER! Us girls aren't used to getting picked on this much in a day, but its fun. We've taken the opportunity to clean out the garage and make some space for food storage. We've also cleaned up the yard to prepare for the summer. Today we went to the Temple and out for some yummy dinner! Fun! Fun! This evening I got a visit from a couple friends from Wyoming. We all took time for a little photo op before they left. We had a nice visit catching up on our families. That's all for today.

Our Easter/Anniversary

This weekend was packed full of things to celebrate. Friday was my sister's birthday....Happy Birthday Heather! Saterday was our Five year Anniversary and our Easter day with the girls. Saturday morning we drove to Ann Morrison Park for the huge Boise Easter egg hunt. Mycah had a turn with the 0-2 yr olds then Dejah with the 3-4 yr olds. While Alex was watching Mycah she saw a little puppy and got really excited. I have never seen her squeel with such excitment ever! It was so funny to watch her reach for that puppy and get all jumpy over it! It was a bunch of fun! After filling their baskets we took the girls to late breakfast and then home for naps. After that we drove back into boise to let the girls play at the park. We saw lots of squirles which again Mycah got all excited about. Both the girls just wanted to touch them and play with them. These pictures aren't very good, but it shows the girls looking at a squirrel.
After we left the park, we took the girls to my sister Melissa's house so that we could go out to dinner alone. It was nice even if it was only an hour.
Today is Easter and we are loading up on Easter candy and pure relaxation. This week is spring break and Alex has the whole week off, so we have lots of Spring cleaning and yard work. Hopefully the weather will be nice so that we can enjoy the week.

Mycah WALKS!

She has finally decided to walk. About a couple nights ago, Mycah just decided to stay on her feet and see where it takes her. She's been doing so good, I'm a proud mama. Here's a little clip for all of you to enjoy.

Let the Mucous Flow

I've decided that there is nothing in the world like motherhood. Oh the joy of it all. This week my duties have expanded and taken on the job of becoming a "personal snot rag". Yes, I am now beginning to wonder if I should ever wear cute clothes because about two minutes after I am dressed I have a bugar somwhere on me. Throughout the day they tend to accumulate on the shoulder and knee area. Forget dark colors! If I wear anything black, or brown, my new motherly job becomes written all over me, litterally. Case in point.......

Two Sides to all of US

Ok, so most of you who get to see my girls once in a while may think...."oh that little baby is so sweet and HAPPY. What most of you do not see is how "needy" Mycah is. She does have her moments where she is completely content playing with her sister Dejah. But for all the other times, she follows me aroud crying until I pick her up. She must have some serious seperation anxiety. Well my hope last night was to get some cute film of my girls playing happily together, instead I got a film of Mycah basically doing just what I was explaining.

Here is a cute clip I took of the girls after Mycah got out of the bath and Dejah was finishing up. Warning...MILD toddler nakedness.

So, I like to pretend that I'm a great mom who doesn't allow their toddler too much T.V. time. Just yesterday Dejah was walking around singing this song I have never heard before. She even did a little performance of it last night for Alex and I. Well today, I figured it out...Check it out! A commercial! Can you believe it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCXqyg7p_ow

The never ending FLU!!!

Ok, so I'm pretty much ready to call it quits on this flu thing. I can't even count how many times we have had the flu this winter....Oh ya all of us except for Alex. A couple days ago it was Mycah, Yesterday it was Dejah, Today it is me. Can you believe it, I even wore green all day yesterday. Well at least there is no nausea or fever at least for me. I just feel as though I have been hit by a mad truck and my entire body is in pain. Mycah had a fever, Dejah had vomiting, and I have aching and chills. I hope this is all over by tomorrow, I have this insane obsession about having a clean house, so I have a hard time just sitting down and relaxing when my house is a mess. On top of that, my motherly duties don't seem to get a brake.

Ok, so March holds many memories for me. My biggest two memories are leaving to serve a mission, and marrying Alex. So much has happened since then, but these memories will always stay with me. Here are a couple pictures for all of you to look at and reflect how much younger we look.

I can't believe it has been eight years since I left to serve a mission. This is my M.T.C. companion and I in our room March 29, 2000. For those of you old companions that may be looking at this page...I'm sorry I didn't include your picture on here with me....I have lots of pictures and not that much time so this was the first two I grabbed, but I love you all tons!
